Cultural Activity Box

A monthly cultural activity box that aims to educate children between the ages of 6-11 about the history and culture of countries within Africa & the Diaspora. Tell us about your business’ mission:

Little Doebahyou is a children’s brand that creates cultural activities to help bridge the cultures of kids living in the USA and kids living throughout Africa & the Diaspora. Through our monthly cultural activity box, our characters Guaye & Grear use travel to explore the similarities & celebrate the differences of children within Africa & the Diaspora.

Best thing about your work:

We have the opportunity to educate families about rich histories and cultures that are often overlooked, and we get to do this by helping them create memories and spend quality time together.

Why are you excited to partner with the YWCA?

We are excited to partner with the YWCA because of the organization’s focus on creating spaces where families can grow and develop. This aligns with one of our core values as a company. For many American families, some of their greatest memories will include the YWCA, and we are extremely excited to play a small part in helping to create those amazing experiences for them.
